What we collect and why
Orders. When you place an order we collect your name, email address, billing and shipping address, phone number if you provide one, and the details of what you ordered. We keep this to fulfil the order, provide support, and meet our tax and accounting obligations.
Payments. Payments are processed by PayPal (WooCommerce PayPal Payments). We do not receive or store your full card number. PayPal’s own privacy policy governs the payment details you give them.
Accounts. If you create an account, we store your email address and order history so you can see and manage your orders.
Messages. When you use the contact form or write to us by email, we collect your name, your email address, the subject you choose, and your message. We keep it to answer you and to keep track of the conversation, and we use it for nothing else.
Comments. If comments are enabled and you leave one, we store the comment and the data shown in the comment form, along with your IP address and browser user agent, to help detect spam.
Cookies. Cookies keep track of what is in your cart, keep you signed in, and help the site remember your preferences. You can clear or block cookies in your browser, though parts of the shop, the cart in particular, will not work without them.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are visited and how people find the shop. It reports aggregate information rather than identifying you personally, and you can opt out with Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Who we share it with
We share data only with the services that make the shop work: PayPal for payments, our email and hosting providers for delivery and storage, and Google for analytics. We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept as long as we need them for tax and accounting purposes. Account information is kept until you ask us to delete it. Analytics data is retained on Google’s default schedule.
Your choices
Email support@paperheartjewelry.com to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted, as far as the law allows. If you are in a jurisdiction with specific privacy rights, tell us and we will work with you.
